There's a big hit above Abe's eye. Not sure it deserves 65.

Well I'd hate for the Zincoln to dissolve before we get an answer...or else this point will be moot.

    Just 1 out of 7,752,355,000

Can that be right? 7.7 billion minted?

Probably only a couple billion survive and every day more than a million more are destroyed.

These were set aside in substantial quantities so they'll never be rare but finding well struck
and pristine pieces is something of a rarity.

Zinc is a terrible metal to make coins since it is toxic and highly reactive. We spend three cents
to make a "coin" that has no value and makes us poorer every time it is used. Then we have to
make the same coin over and over again because they are disposable and so worthless that
they spend more time in a drawer than making change. I guess waste caused by making coins
isn't as hazardous to creating global warming as waste generated by having jobs in America.
