Does this case look fake to you?

    "trac&field"

    notice no "k"

PCGS price guide says some Track & Field sold recently:
    MS69 $90 Sep-2011 Great Collections GreatCollections Coin Auctions 09/25/2011 18173 PCGS
    MS70 $288 Sep-2011 Heritage Internet Coin Auction #131139 21404 PCGS
    MS70 $391 Aug-2011 Teletrade Auction 3122 1809 PCGS

Can someone post the pics from heritage, TT or GC ???

I have to say... the font does look a little heavy, similar to the fake fonts we've seen the last couple years.

I'm even more undecided on the Gymnastics one.

Here are some other recent auctions:
    MS70 $127 Oct-2011 Heritage Thursday Modern Coin Auctions #241142 18308 PCGS
    MS70 $104 Oct-2011 Heritage Internet Coin Auction #131142 26542 PCGS
    MS70 $127 Oct-2011 Heritage Thursday Modern Coin Auctions #241141 17268 PCGS
    MS70 $127 Sep-2011 Heritage Thursday Modern Coin Auctions #241140 16243 PCGS

    The slab looks fine.

Trac&Field is spelled that way because on that slab type (the first of the blue-label slabs, with the bar code on the back) they put the description of the coin in the upper left corner, where the date goes today. Due to this positioning, they were limited in the number of characters to 10.

In that slab version, they spell "Long Island" as "Long Islan", and abbreviate other names as well.

I think they both look fine.
I decided to change calling the bathroom the John and renamed it the Jim. I feel so much better saying I went to the Jim this morning.

    The name is LEE!

Wow, that's lame. But then I suppose their options were limited. Ten characters ain't much. And "Trac&Field" definitely would've raised some red flags for me the same way it did for others, here. First thing my eye did was stray down to the item location to see if it said something like "Guangzhou City" or something like that.

I believe the angle and the close proximately of the camera give the photographic effect the slab is fake.
That isn't the case though- they're real.

Here's an example of that type of slab with an abbreviated 10-character spelling of Connecticut.

It would be easy to think some Chinese counterfeiter mispelled it "Connectict" if one didn't know about the character limit.

Aren't there supposed to be two little clear circles at the extreme right and left below the label on genuine PCGS slabs? I don't see them on these pieces.
