roger, it is essentially the same thing as if you had gone out and purchased a David Price Bowman Chrome Superfractor Autograph and came on these boards trumpeting about what an awesome card it is. Vintage cards and the beckett boards mix like 3 year olds and firecrackers.

Ok, i got it now. I have never been to the beckett boards but i have heard references to them being young kids.
Slightly OT, but I've been banned until the year 2062 (this is not a joke) from the Beckett boards, and I never made a single post there. Is that some kind of record?
Way sick!! After that Wagner record sale, I am buying every single Poor condition vintage card I can. As you know from the record, low grade vintage is where it is at baby!!!
I am a little stuck on the Nov. 8, 1910 date stamp. Someone on the Becket thread said they heard stores opened the cigarette packs and stamped the card to indicate how fresh the pack was. I found that interesting, a little T206 tid bit I had not heard. These cards were not considered to have any value to collectors at that time, so that sound like a very plausible thought. However, I was not aware that the 150 series ran that far into 1910. Perhaps someone here with more knowledge than I will know the end date to that series. If the series did indeed end long before Nov. 8, 1910; then perhaps a collector added the stamp.

That comment about sums it up for the beckett boards.
Nice for the price.

I'm guessing they wouldn't like collectors who do mostly 70s (and 80s/90s to a lesser extent) like myself, correct?
