I was looking at my totally worthless sets (1988-present), and some of them are complete, others are missing 30 or fewer cards. I want to finish them, but I don't want to spend .20 a card or whatever it takes to finish them. One to one trading is problematic because the guy you're trading with has to have exactly the cards you're looking for, and vise versa. So I thought, why not have a collective group who want to finish sets, the more the better. The way it would work is that each member would offer up cards for trade, the trades would be one for one, the condition must be nrmt-mt, and all trades must be posted on the board, so that there is a record of the transactions. No Beckett value lookups, just a straight one for one, regardless of the year (if someone wants to swap a Pujols or Jeter, it's still one for one). Anyone want to participate? A show of hands, please.

Great idea!

My Boys and I need 13 1984-2007 Topps regular & Traded issues of SF Giants to complete our Team sets... but, can't seem to find anyone who has them for trade or sale. Might be because they aren't worth anything and no one wants to waste their time?

I could buy 1 or 2 here and there (eBay) and end up paying $20 shipping for $2 worth of cards.

Count me in....I have been spending too much on sportlots finishing sets that are "worthless". I am working on 1990's insert sets (ie stadium club, topps reprints, shiny, mirror). Glad to know I am not the only person working on these.

We gave away more than 1000 1993 Donruss cards back in Jan... I'm sure we had the cards you needed-okay that doesn't help I know.

How about 1974 Topps? I checked out your old link, but can't tell if what you need... I think we still have a Dave Parker & Dave Winfiled RC's.

Anychance, that 1975 Topps Brett is available (it's one of eight cards we need for our 1975 set)?

Jackpot.

I hit all but #32 in this load. And these are nice minty cards. You will like these. The three rookie cards at the end are Canseco, Gallaraga and Fielder. I think I'll hold those back but would be willing to listen to an offer. The Canseco has a print line running across his face which would keep this card from getting a straight 9. The others are clean though.

PM me an address and the rest of the stack is yours. An offer on the other 3 would get you within 1 card of the set.
