I got the coins while i was out at sea doing work for the little fellow in the picture below. The one on the right has a low mintage. The one on the left is just the standard ship coin, I get one from every ship I visit.

Seeing that Stealth reminded me of my days working as a park ranger in Death Valley National park in the early 1980’s.
We use to go to Tonopah, Nevada to shop, as it was only 90 miles away. The place was covered with military personnel and I could never understand why, other than they were doing some secret stuff in the desert.
So anyway, we would be having a beer or 2 at night enjoying the desert sky and now and then we would see all kinds of things that would flash in the night sky and wonder what the heck was that? Well now we know all the answers so to speak.

<< <i>Cool..... I assume ship's coins are the same as challenge coins.... never had them when I was in the Navy.... Cheers, RickO >>
Yes, the ship coins are considered challenge coins, and the x-47 coin too for that matter. Everyone on the team got two of the X-47 coins, one to keep and one to give to a sailor.
