Re: PLEASE READ - Buy, Sell, & Trade
I just signed on a few minutes ago then started reading the scammer caution post. Well I very well fit a couple items posted and I am not a scammer. I am looking for knowledge and advise for myself and friend. My friend is not interested and nor am I in selling coins merely looking to see value to leave our grand children.… -
Re: Is this a Cragslist fake HANK AARON rookie card on Ebay??
<< <i>Poor a***b (or whoever) is going to be one unhappy boy or girl this Christmas. >> Scammers come out on ebay at holiday season like parasitic bedbugs come out right before dawn. The seller might even receive a "positive" because the buyer, getting a holiday gift for a family member, receives the item and doesn't know… -
Re: Beware of this 1933 Goudey Gehrig PSA 7
New Craigslist looking scam cards can be made today, it's not a one and done deal. How is PSA supposed to know where they all are and who will be making them or offering them for sale next. You think the scammers put PSA on their mailing list, notifying them when they list a bogus card. There are things where Vero works… -
Re: New Twist on old scam?
Not at all new. The original seller is not involved and has nothing to do with this. The link will take you to the scammers server where you'll see a fake paypal login screen. When you login, your id and password will be save. Then if he's really good you'll get a screen that says all is ok or you were contacted in error… -
Re: Not all PSA 9 OC's are created equal

<<< let's acknowledge JR as a cheater, a scammer, and a thief. >>> You should learn the definition of words before spouting off accusations such as this. JR had a 100% feedback rating and under no definition was he a scammer or a thief. Yes he did cheat. He also refunded all the money that he cheated people out of which he… -
Re: How bout another Forum for eBay posts??????
I'm still somewhat new here but I kind of like the heads up about eBay coin selling (or sometimes buying) scumbags. The Chinese ones are also funny as hell. The real power in the forum I've seen is when forum members do sleuth work to uncover a scammers shill method or true identity and shut them down or at least expose… -
Re: Let's play detective....1958 Topps Jim Brown PSA 9 rookie
The seller's ID was tigerauctiongroup, but I'm sure he didn't even know the auction was going on. The scammer likely stole the ID after getting tigerauctiongroup to unwittingly submit his password to him at some point - maybe not even recently. We've probably all gotten these spoof e-mails. These scammers use eBay IDs that… -
Re: Saturday goal : 5 trades...CAN I DO IT?
who am i to tell you that you suck? well, i'm LeonSucks....... although I may change it to TrFstPtchSucks......... has a better ring to it. You suck bad....... face it. Anyone who trades this loser $100 for the ball card is missing a few screws. If there was meant to be a multiplier on it, Dr. James Backett would have… -
Re: Savannah Auctions are back!

Is anyone actually surprised? This is an old account they've had stashed for years. Wonder how many more just like it they've got? Essentially, eBay did nothing but give these scammers a different venue in which to rip people on. Clearly, it's going to take a class action suit, it's going to take the stockholders to get… -
Re: Question for Storm 888
Correct me if I'm wrong but the Paypal protection for sellers when properly shipping by SC and DC only covers the sellers for disputes of delivery. If you've followed all the Paypal rules and show proof of delivery you get to keep your money. If the buyer then makes up a false claim with his credit card company about the…
