Frank, While you're correct that the 1951 Berk Ross cards were sold as a boxed set, I believe you're wrong about the 1952 Berk Ross being a "collectors' issue." My opinion...if you have two seemingly equal coins sitting next to each other where the only difference was that one was struck with nice clean dies and the other was struck with rusted dies...I would select the one that was struck with rust-free dies. I understand you want a quick and dirty answer, but it is impossible to generalize about your inquiry. Quick example. a set of dies taken from the press and stored in a damp mint basement might show visible signs of rusting in as little as a year.
