Proposal to mods: Make "rover.ebay.com" a banned phrase
This would prevent spammers like the one we just had from posting their spam and perhaps discourage people from joining this forum just to spam the place with "rover" links. Any thoughts? Is this possible with the software you're using here? -

You need to call eBay ASAP. That or use their online chat system. Maybe that e-mail was a fake, but all the spam I've gotten from them has NEVER mentioned my real user ID in the greeting. If the spammers are doing that now they're getting a lot better. -

After what Seattle Slammer said, I started adding them up.....but I stopped after the first page, I dont want to scare myself But lets just say for the first page alone was about $3k (the classic head large cent was a good chunk of that) -

I've seen more clever SPAM on this board, but in every case it teaches me to ignore the spammer's auctions and threads. Do you think so little of this forum and its members that you would misuse it this way? Edit to add: It's his. -
