<< <i>Did you charge $4 to ship 1 PSA card? >> Sure do....are you going to chastise me for that when PWCC charges $6-$10 to ship a single card?? And would you like to see my shipping charge from Mile High Card Co for my graded card wins??? PS - paid $7.95 recently to a seller for shipping on a single graded won recently… -
Re: When did you realize that it wasn't YOUR Baseball team?
That story makes me wonder . . . Doesn't it seem like the things we really have to work at are the things we end up cherishing the most? These days it is so easy to follow a team that I think a lot of us take our sports for granted. I live 3,000 miles away from where the Red Sox play and yet through the miracle of cable TV… -
Re: Not to beat a dead horse, but is Baltimore really an incredibly dangerous city?
There is a world of difference between Penn Station and the Convention Center area. The Convention Center and Inner Harbor are by a long shot the safest part of Baltimore. The city depends upon the tourist traffic to the ballparks, the National Aquarium, etc so it tends to be well lit and safe. Of course, the tourist… -
Re: Boston Red Sox Thread
When one appears to have blind faith in a team, vs, seeing reality, the end result is most often a big disappointment. I believe I posted back near April that the team was not going to make the playoffs...while mathematically there is still a shot, each day makes the net close in. My prognostication was and is valid. Like… -

Re: Strongsville, Ohio Sportscard Show March 28-30, 2014
I went last year and plan to go again for at least one day this year....I live nearby, less than ten miles away so it's an easy decision....There is also a large mall almost right next door so you can also go there. Lots of places to eat nearby as well. ...most of the old time cleveland area dealers set up and there… -
Re: new 1913 type one 3 & 1/2 legged buffalo nickel
Tom just brought this coin over here to my house an hour or so ago (we live just a couple of miles apart) whereupon I had a good close look at it. My impression is that is is, indeed, an unusual coin and part of that lower right front leg is unquestionably missing. The coin is also massively clashed. But I'm not so sure it… -
Re: Gary Sheffield a Red Sox
<< <i> << <i>haha you pay a guy 13 million dollars to bat .285, hit 24 HRs and drive in 80 RBI? GREAT INVESTMENT DIPCHITS! Hell, 50 guys hit more home runs than he did, 76 had more RBI, 79 had a better batting average, and 59 had higher OPS. Only 23 players, though, made more money. >> Yet, compare his numbers to Coco… -
