Re: How bad does this suck...1st neg feedback and it was left in error!!
Basilone Yes, you can easily have it removed... for $20 through a Square Trade moderator. And if I were you, I'd see if the guy that left it would step up and pay the fee (or at least 1/2 of it). I'm pretty sure whoever initiates the process with Square Trade is the one that pays the fee. I've used them a couple of times… -
Re: Need opinions on this Gold coin.....

there is almost always a reason why such a coin is not already in a holder Maybe ...it's aaaa... That it takes 3 months to get a coin back from certain slabbing companies???? That's a BIG reason that I don't get some coins graded - the process takes too long and is too expensive for a lot of coins. To spend an extra $30… -
Re: Will TR please tell me why i was kicked off?
Mike, i dont know about YOUR past and did not do a backgorund ck on you but i trust the member of TR who did and from what i have seen you seem to be a great guy. But forgiving a person for their past actions that they have done recently or keep doing is a whole other ballgame. If you really feel the way you do why dont… -
Help Please on eBay Situation
I bought a coin for $59 BIN the other day. The auction is this one. Afgter searching the seller past auctions, he sold the exact same coin three days earlier in this auction. I sent one email questioning the auctions, he replied back saying they were different and he could tell by looking at the toning. I then replied back… -
Re: Selling a gold coin - question
My guess is that most local shops will offer 10% back of melt (visit coinflation.com to see what current melt, with gold at $1771 melt is about $215 today) for a raw $2 1/2 gold coin offered from an unknown seller. I see $300 someone else mentioned as optimistic and more of a retail price for a nice raw $2 1/2 gold coin.… -
Re: Safe Ebay Buying ?
<< <i> << <i>Do like me, buy widgets which aren't worth faking. Problem solved! >> widgets are also counterfeited. there is a site with every usa type counterfeited. >> Yes, even low value ($10 or less) foreign minors, low value Civil War tokens, and other low value items are being faked. Why? There is money to be made,… -
Re: Another ebay buyer to block.
Actually, I would call ebay if he is making these comments through their message system. With that said. I have sold almost three thousand items this year on ebay and not a single package ever didn't get scanned at any point. For a package to have never been scanned means it had to not be scanned upon drop off, at any stop… -
Re: Is PCGS doing anything about the counterfeit slab issue?
<< <i>Except, as a buyer through the mail, you couldn't check the coin out until you it in hand. And if it was counterfeit, in many cases it would be too late to do anything about it. Excellent on line images that could be easily accessed and matched to the coins could accomplish the same thing. And buyers wouldn't have to… -
Re: What would you do?
"...Why exactly should the buyer be out $500 with nothing to show for the $500? When the buyer returned the seller's card he should have been made whole, not made half...." ///////////////////////////////////////////////////////////// It's prolly a little more complicated than that, but not too much so. The greater bearer… -
Re: Worst EBAY trim jobs contest

This may not be the worst trim job of all time, but it's an expensive one: The seller wants $1800 for a sliced-up Aaron rookie. It's not even trimmed squarely. The first scan shows the PRO 8.5 Aaron up for auction. It's hard to see the borders against the white background in the faint, hazy scan. (Think that's an accident?…
