Re: Shipping to Canada and overseas. Here's how one seller puts it :+)
ALL bidders of missing mail will be blocked from future bidding do (due) to the fact I can produce proof of mailing , they cannot prove not receiving - from the same seller. I have an unwritten policy of banning any bidder who blames me for delays in receipt caused by their country's postal system and/or customs problems.… -
Re: Neutral feedback because of shipping charge
No delivery confirmation. The seller re-used a bubble envelope that he got before when he purchased something, so I definitely applaud that seller for "recycling," and I don't dock him any points there. Not using DC for all items, except maybe those under $10 is a very poor policy as there are many scammer buyers out there… -
Re: Item not as described? UPDATE
<< <i>Curious, what was this ebayer's FB rating? I'm noticing a lot more of this since Ebay instituted their new TOS. On my more valuable auctions from now on, I'm thinking of blocking all bidders with little or no feedback. I realize I'm losing a segment of the Ebay market, but it seems like it might be worth the risk. >>… -

Re: Fake Kennedy's?
Some see a raised line on the edge, but I just see a line, as you should with clad coins (silver clad in this case), I would not dip anymore - that definitely ruins them, whatever they are, I think they could be real, but also remember the Chinese scammers who shipped back tens of millions of $$ in coins they claimed to… -
Re: Got stuck with fakes - what's my recourse?
I had the same issue years ago when I bought an 86’ Fleer Jordan ungraded. I gave the person plenty of time to fix the transaction. When he refused, I called the local police department close to his home. I received his home information through eBay. I wasn’t expecting a miracle through calling the Police, but I was… -
Re: Question for collectors only (same definition as last thread)
Give me a break. There are plenty of honest, hard working, ethical dealers and collectors. Many of them post right here. Sure there are scammers out there, but that is true in any line of business. There is plenty of trust. A lot of business is done on a handshake or even a nod. Yes, sometimes that trust is burned,… -
Re: "COULD BE A PRUSSIA"

<< <i>I reported those when I first caught em this morning... looks like they're still going though... >> I reported the auction for the 8 reales to eBay. This is the response I got from the seller: "It is not a violation on ebay. How do you know if it is a counterfit? For your information, this coin came from savana… -
Re: Would you buy a coin you absolutely have to have from a dealer or person you completely despise?
Of course I would. I don't do "despise," or even "hate," because they're destructive emotions which only interfere with personal progress. I don't "hate" anyone, nor will I ever. Business is business. If I relieve a known scammer of a coin, it will have been on terms which are favorable to me and unfavorable to him… -
Re: Worst unopened pack experience
<< <i>why would someone search this pack and reseal it and leave the OJ inside? That's like busting a '71 pack and leaving the Bradshaw. >> My only guess is that they didn't like the centering. Other than that I have no idea. I bought a 77 FB vending box from waxme that was obviously searched. They did leave a Largent in…
