Re: another eBay loser to block--update
<< <i>I guess the part that bugs me is that this person outbid someone who obviously wanted it pretty bad. Check the bid history and it sure makes me think the winning bidder is beyond inconsiderate. He screwed TWO people in this transaction. >> This is a perfect situation for "Second Chance" -- too bad the scammers pretty… -
Re: I don't think I'm gonna get paid for this auction...
I think the guy is messin' with you. Scammers have a story - buyers have money. He has bought (and paid for) quite a few other items since the end of your auction. I would immediately file an Unpaid Item Dispute and stop any communication with him. No reason to give him an opportunity for more stories. At the end of 8… -
Re: WOW! Another record price for the 72-P IKE Type II

<< <i>Wow!......That ought to bring a few more out of the woodwork! >> Have you noticed all the wrongly attributed raw ones showing up lately? I'm currently having an email war with "3315metal" about his auction not being a type 2. He says "it is a type two, look at the small lettering in STATES on the back, and check the… -
Re: What ever happend to the auction house ebay??
A PSA 9 QUAL Ernie Banks Rookie card Asking price 10K, HA thats what a solid 9's SMR is. So? That seller is a scammer. I can find many 'auctions' for sports cards that start at .99 to 9.99. What I think here is that some people want something for nothing. BIN's in many cases are fair and a benifit to both parties. If a… -
Reminder to protect your images by tomorrows deadline
Remember to opt out of the image sharing program by tomorrow or else ebay has the option of taking scans from your auctions and placing them in a library for others to use. I think this is possibly one of the worst idea ebay has ever had -- I guess if you are selling a 53 Archives Mantle you can just pull the image of a… -
Re: I melted all my silver pandas to make these!!!

<< <i> << <i>Spam never worries me. >> Hey pal....take a look at your sigline. You are more of a spammer than i'll ever be! >> So what does your spam have to do with US coins? Good lord at least spam the precious metals forum. Oh I forgot you spammed it already! Thought I would share the PM gecko109 sent me. How is it… -
Re: Where is everyone getting there cards from? I am Frustrated
instagram has been great. no tax, usually 5% - 10% discount off ebay pretaxed pricing. just make sure you use the reg paypal option. i'm sure there are scammers on there but any seasoned vet can spot them pretty easily and simply move on. the last card i bought was 22% cheaper than the cheapest BIN on ebay. pretty… -
Re: Pray for those in Alabama....Large parts of Tuscaloosa, Birmingham destroyed by monster twisters...
I heard that Ringgold, GA was hit. The only other time I've heard of Ringgold, GA is the repeated email scam I get asking how much shipping is to Ringgold, GA in an attempt to hijack my account. I hope the twister only hit the scammer. However, he probably lives somewhere else, likely offshore. I called my family in MO… -
Re: Paypal chargeback
Also Mike in the future if something like this was to happen and it was on a more expensive item, if they try to claim not authorized and in this case all you need is to prove delivery of a box or envelope to said address to get paid out you can always ship out another box this time with tracking info to the same address… -
Re: Questions about 1965 Lincoln Cent labeled "Double Dot"
If you dig out some old Coin Worlds from the mid-60's, you will find a lot of ads touting the "Double Dot" cent. It was 1965, the first year of the "no-mint marks", and a batch of these "Double Dot" cents were released in the Kansas City area which presumably meant they came from the Denver mint. The scammers hyped them as…
