Re: NARU mistake??
eBay will suspend you for a variety of things. Being a scammer is one of them, of course, but a more mundane offense is forgetting to pay your eBay fees after a warning (or having an expired credit card on file with eBay when they try to take their pound of flesh). It's particularly annoying if you're running auctions when… -
Re: 1978 Topps baseball collectors

rd, Thank you for the kind words! But please, don't diminish what you are doing. Of course having the resources to buy alot of cards in a relatively short time make things easier BUT you still have to LOVE the set and that is what COUNTS! I could have done what you are doing I suppose. I chose to buy a good amount of… -
Re: Weird eBay "scam" going around, sellers beware.
Another recent scam/hack happened to a friend of mine. He sold a PCGS V-75 Gold coin on eBay. Buyer paid for it and sent his address..........which happened to be to someone else's address that had hacked into the buyers address profile. Luckily eBay paid for the lost transaction and had an address to track the thief down.… -
FS: 2003 Topps Chrome Dwyane Wade #115 Refractor PSA 9

Have it on ebay currently, but looking to sell private party. It originally sold to a well known trimmer/scammer on ebay but he ended up ignoring invoices and messages and due to his history in the hobby I didn't feel comfortable selling to him anyways so ebay advised me to cancel the sale. Ive seen some recent PSA 10's… -
Estate Doctor sells "Cheerios" Sackie

Which likely isn't. Nothing I see in the sale to indicate it's a cheerio's sackie, save for ED's saying so. Since he lists it as "gold plated clad" I doubt he know what a cheerios varity is or diagnostics. His usual private auction, so no way to alert the buyer. No reverse phot given, unslabbed. For those unfamiliar with… -
Re: Confused as to why everybody doesn't use Probstein??
I was just curious if anyone knows who loses out in the event of a scam buyer. Let's say you consign him a $200.00 Mantle card which he sells for $150.00. The buyer claims item not as described or whatever they do and file a paypal claim and the scammer wins. Who loses? Probstein or you? I was curious because I am not sure… -
Re: Your chance to join Cardinal in the 1794 dollar club
<< <i>Bid at $420....... people are stupid...... >> Or they are just planning on paying with a credit card via PayPal. Then planning on submitting for authentication/grading under an express service so that they get the coin back w/in the two week return. If it doesn't grade, send the coin back for full refund... if seller… -
Re: I MUST sell 1/4 of my PM's financially...
<< <i>Nobody sends PM's up front , i fail to see why it's being instigated on the BST. >> What is the difference? I send you cash 1st, or you send me the metal 1st? If either of us are scammers, theres no advantage.....if both people are honest, it works flawlessly. And FYI, I have sent out $7,400 worth of gold before the… -
Re: Sorry in advance, but we're all losing our eBay TSR discount
Well that blows... I have "No Returns" on all of my auctions, but I still accept returns if someone complains (hasn't happened yet). I only have it set that way in order to deter scammers. I guess I'll have to comply. I also have it set to 3-day handling because I'm also a casual seller. I don't want to be making trips to… -
