Re: Item delivered after case opened question
<< <i>If the item was delivered outside of the "expected delivery date," then ebay cannot help >> Wait, you mean to tell me if an item gets delivered to a buyer after "eBay's expected delivery date" has passed they won't automatically reverse a decision on a case? We all know those delivery date times are a friggin joke,… -
Re: Do you guys ever get together and trade cards anymore? Feeling better Giveaway. Congratulations tige
Absolutely. You hear about all of the scammers, shillers, etc... but there are still a disproportionate number of good guys to bad guys in collecting. Let the cards be something fun to just get away from it all. And you can let the other collectors be a sounding board. We all go through it. tough times. I lost my father… -
Re: problem with a 1986 fleer jordan (rc), need help!!! also how to get wax off the back of1986 fleer ba
<< <i>Many of the screw down holders from the 80's and 90's contained PVC in them. The chemicals can often react and discolor the card over long periods of time. You might want to lightly try rubbing the shiny part with the pantyhose. I am afraid to say if that doesn't work you might be SOL. Eitherway, I would definitely… -
Re: Black NGC holders are back
Personally, I think this is not a very well thought idea which smacks of an attempt to lure submitters. Sure, the black insert was pretty cool but the bottom line is that its only desireable because there just are not that many coins in the black holders any longer. To Flood the Market with "new" black holders (look at the… -
Re: Shipping to Canada question
Sorry to hear all the problems shipping to Canada. The real problem is paypal and ebay. If they always didn't side with a scammer buyer then all this might stop. I'm in the process of selling 100's of cards so when done I will be glad...can't stand selling. With all th ebay fees and the fact that to avoid scams I have to… -
Re: Paypal-security Key
I use it, and it's a must-have in my opinion. It's so easy for scammers on the internet to get your passwords, whether it be through phishing emails, or other means. With the security key, even if they have your password, it would be nearly impossible for them to get past the security key page. And, deactivating the… -
Re: I'm mad and I'm not going to Take it anymore!!!
<< <i>His business model is to buy problem coins, bump the grade a few notches and call them "original". Seems to be working. Many have said coin dealers have no ethics, and this guy fits that description to a tee. >> On the same vein as the Home Repair Scammers that fix a leaky roof with corregated cardboard! I'm sure his… -
Re: Why highlight "estate" or "estate collection" in auction titles?

For the rest of my life, whenever I see "estate auction", I will forever think of the Savanna Scammers, Pam and Jim Donelly. PJD1966 and all their various alt IDs including the currently operating "Estate Doctor" are the scum of the earth. Just this last weekend they took some poor fool for 5K with that copper plated '43… -
Re: Fake 1953 Mantle

Well, if I had a Mint 1953 Mantle, Pro Choice is certainly where I'd send it for grading. Those dang Pro Lifers get on my nerves. Mine was only NM, so I sent it to some kitchen-table grader called PSA. This one bugs me more than the dime-a-dozen 1952 Mantle scams, because I happen to LOVE the 1953 Topps Mick and the scummy… -
Re: Todays over hyped POS
Three at fault for this. 1. Coinmovers for saying it, 2. PCI for grading it, 3. David Hall for allowing his price guide to be used by scammers. David, I implore you to clearly identify your CU Price guide as prices for PCGS coins only based upon PCGS strict grading standards and established marketability. Get with your…
