Re: eBay sellers - save yourself some grief and block this idiot "solange714". **UPDATE**
wow - you insured for $51 - should have told him to start the insurance claim paperwork and send it to you. I have had some buyers 'claim' they did not receive item - on $10 items - I tell them I will refund but add to my feedback for them and say 'refunded because buyer claimed never received shipment - sellers beware' I… -
Re: Someone help me-- what is the big problem with Keyword Spamming on Ebay?
Because if I want to look for PCGS-grade MS-63 coins, for example, I don't want to have to wade through a bunch of crap like "NTC MS-63 WORTH $5000 AT PCGS" or "PCGS MS-61 LOOKS MS-63!" in order to find the few actual hits. Yes, in terms of "egregiousness" on the pecking order it's lower than the coin doctors and the… -
Re: Accused rare coin investment swindler living the good life in Bali
Yet another very ugly chapter in the history of coin investment. Yet another that winds up in court, with the investors getting little or nothing. Readers, especially new collectors, or potential investors, this trip to the cleaners is an average experience for coin investors. It is an unregulated area that attracts… -
Re: Show Your Collection
Guys, thanks for the pictures of your displays. I love looking at different collections. I'm new to this forum (been reading it for months, don't post much). BTW, I really miss Hal Lewis's website (lewisbaseballcards.com). He had some unbelieveable cards!! I guess he didn't like the images been used for EBAY scammer sales… -
Re: Question about 70's-80's unopened wax packs
James, There are a TON of people who reseal out there. You seem like a nice guy, but blindly providing the sort of info you're looking for can be, as Arthur mentioned a few posts ago, used for bad bad evil. I actually think we are a bit too forthcoming with some of our info (when you look back at our group packs rips and… -
Re: you wont believe this!
Paypal has always dealt with its customers in a heavy handed manner. In essence, paypal works great UNLESS you have an issue. On the surface, it would make more sense for the scammer to have the negative balance instead of paypal coming after you. But let's say someone robbed another person and subsequently bought… -
Re: STOP THE GROUP VINTAGE RIPS- Suspicious Activity

Gary, Admit the boxes are the ones you bought of e-bay. I didn't have a stake in the rips, but I do have a stake when you blatently lie about something on this boards to my friends. Did you actual think that every one here is that stupid? We have no life. We make a living outing scams and scammers on e-bay. Hell, the FBI… -
Re: Some of my collection favorites to share.
PSA/DNA can give you piece of mind. It may cost you a few bucks, but why take chances? It is a tough crowd on this board for a new guy. If you don't have thick skin you probably should not post, nor make foolish wagering proposals that you have no interest in following through with. Sadly there have been too many scammers… -
Re: eBay = "Flea"Bay = and why the whole thing sucks!
<<Either its my imagination or "flea"Bay is overrunned with tightwads and those who are expecting something for nothing.>> Yes this is partly true, what is also true is that many honest legit sellers auctions can/are hurt by the huge number of scammers. One other big factor is what your selling, I do not buy or follow… -
Re: stolen image being used - ebay-report time
How dumb would a scammer have to be to run a stolen image on the same site and at the same time the owner is running an auction for the same piece? I mean, c'mon, at least list it on another site or something. Geez. The only other reason I can think of is if it were a case of laziness. Maybe he owns a similar coin and just…
