"No one will be able to tell the difference!"
This guy with the poor feedback (hidden) is apparently selling copies of autographed photos. But you don't realize that until you read the description. "No one will be able to tell the difference!" And he's offering COA's to go with them. So reading between the lines, he's offering fakes that you can try to resell as real… -
Take a look at this..
Linkage HSN is offering a "rare" liberty V nickel that they consider an error coin! It has no cents on it. Of course, if I'm not mistaken, ALL liberty V nickels (at least before they changed it) had no cents on them. They're making it sound like this coin is an actual rare "error" coin off the mint. The mint didn't make a… -
Re: USPS insurance for a non-scanned package
<< <i>On line purchase of postage is limited to $500 inusrance for this reason. They will honor the insurance even if they have no record of it ever making it to the post office. Anything over 250 I try to get scanned into the system with the clerk just to play is safe. >> You're sure about that? Scammers could print out… -
Re: $8,000 down the drain................

<< <i> << <i>That's an incredible ultra rare opportunity and I missed it. What are the odds that he could make-up another roll for me? >> I'd bet that he's making up another roll for the next sucker to come along and be "rolled tight," too. >> Besides the money, I would imagine most scammers probably get some sort of… -
Re: Beware - a bunch of auctions on Ebay have pics of the good dates on the Lincolns and ship bad ones

<< <i>Is it just a coincidence that they show only the good dates? Steve >> Don't convict them based on a possible explanation that they are a scammer. As an honest seller I see these threads and realize it could happen to me. I sold several boxes of LP1 lincolns and didn't even look at the date. I used the same picture. I… -
Re: I got the envelope but the coins are missing!

<< <i>Do a little investigation to see if the coin was in the envelope in the first place and go from there. A while ago I did a BST purchase that had no coin inside the envelope and upon a little checking it was concluded that there was never a coin inside when the envelope was mailed. >> That would be a lame scam--a scam… -
Re: What to do with PSA rejections???

<< <i> << <i>........Sell/trade them in the Card Savers returned from PSA, which features a serial number and reason for rejection?... >> Yes. >> There's a chance that card ends up being relisted on ebay as a raw nm card, but you can't control what scammers will do. When I have rejected cards I want to keep, I usually get… -
Re: OT- Ebay listing fees
FleaBay is a scammer's paradise. They're being investigated in both Australia & the U.K. for their unfair trading practices. I reckon that all the Attorneys-General of every state in America, plus the federal Attorney-General in Washington,D.C. needs to be notified,so that they can do FleaBay under both federal & states'… -
Re: E-bay seller Shoeless Joe ........Refund Received !!
The question is, who will do anything about it? He probably knows that no one will because they arent being sold for thousands of dollars. It would have to be quite a large purchase for someone to take action. There are so many scammers that do fraudulent things and no one will ever do anything to shut them down because… -
Re: Won my first coin auction on ebay

Shawn, Welcome! Thanks for your service in Iraq. The coin looks potentially a 64, therefore what you paid was good, but in the future, stick to PCGS, NGC, or ANACS slabs. Some of the other companies: 1) Can't grade consistently, or accurately and 2) the worst of them are scammers. In addition to eBay, you might try…
