Re: Who here has a old muscle car?

This old boat is available locally and although not a muscle car per say it has a nice look (I like how the back end looks) and looks like it has potential. From the ad 71 Buick Rivera GS , 455 big block with 47, 959 miles. Been in storage for many many yrs. Surely it needs some kind of work after sitting for 30 yrs in dry… -

Re: A Post About Something Teletrade Just Did That Really Impressed Me & Was Great For The Hobby!!
I don't have many decent B&M dealers near me (I have checked out all of the within a ~60 mile radius), and can't make it to many shows. The majority of my purchases are online. It's great to know that Teletrade weeds out spotty 70 eagles. I wish more dealers/etc. did. I started collecting silver eagles, and abandoned hopes… -

Re: How bout some RESPECT for Platinum!?
I sold some raw 1 ozers to Silvertowne at the St. Louis show a week ago for $1715 when spot was around $1690. Granted, the other dealers were only offering spot at the time, but I had no problem finding willing buyers. Miles, yes those are still my collection except that I added a bunch more in '07 & '08, then I slacked… -
Re: Update on eBay Charging Sales Tax on Coins/Bullion
Yes we certainly take it in the shorts on the gas tax, everyone is going to get it one way or the other I suppose but they are not getting it on coins and bullion. Also helps to live 7 miles from the Ohio border, gas is typically 40 cents cheaper so we just fill up over there. Edit: just put 100 eagles in the shopping… -
Do you think it will grade/upgrade...your opinions on an indian cent...lets see how good you are!

Re: Is anybody buying 2008 platinums at the ridiculous premium of $500 over spot?
The lack of stability in the bullion market is just one of the problems that plagues these coins. The Mint really should have anticipated that these bullion price swings, and come up with a way to set prices accordingly. A logical thing to do would have been to price these at a fixed percentage over spot and mint small… -

Re: The official Platinum Reverse Proof Set Thread
hrlaser: yes, good luck finding a pristine 2006 Gold Anniversray Set. I see APMEX is out of them and one went for over $6000 last night on ebay. Darn shame some of those GOLD reverse proofs, along with the Platinum version, will be melted...oh well, the price to be paid for accelerating PM prices. So much accelerating,…
