Re: Pop 1 cards
Nope, worthless. I’ll take them off your hands. Sorry, couldn’t resist. When you say “pop 1” is that what you mean, or do you mean “pop 1, none higher”? There’s a big difference. For example, you can have a PSA 2.5 of a certain card that’s pop 1 in that grade but there are thousands of nicer copies in the pop report. Or… -
Re: half cents C-1 vs. C-2 vs C-3
There are only two varieties of half cent in 1835 C- and C2. (I understand that you were speaking generally as to what the C 3"s were.) As BigD5 said the C#'s on half cents refer to the die variety numbers assigned by Roger Cohen in his book The Little Half Sisters. Cohen assigned a number to each different pairing of… -

Re: Why such the huge premiums on 1/10 oz gold coins?
$97 per is our price on the 2007-dated 1/10 ounce eagles, which the Mint is sold out of. I sold 22 generic 1/10 ounce eagles the other day for $87 per, and have none left. Therefore, the only 1/10 ounce gold eagles I have right now are the 2007's at $97 per. I have generic 1/4 and 1/2 ounce eagles left if you are… -

I'm pricing around to find some 1/10th oz AGEs...
I decided to add some 1/10th ozers to the stack, so I started looking at spreads and premiums online for starters. Tulving (minimum 100 coins) has a premium of 11% to 12% on 100 coins. Not too bad. Apmex has a premium of 20.1% on 1 to 49 coins. ugh. Gainesville has no 1/10 ozers. Their 1/4 ozers have a 10% premium. Not too… -
