1824/2 Dime Mintage... what part of 510,000?
Just received this 1824/2 from fellow board member, Barry. It's a very nice example for the date, in my opinion, and I believe ANACs got it right with the VF-35 grade. My question is, can anyone pin down a figure on the 1824/2's mintage? All the major periodicals have it as being lumped in w/the 510,000 minted in 1825, but… -

1712 2 Escudo Finest graded $5800 1715 fleet with papers. From the Bob Weller collection, a well known treasure hunter. Only 2 graded at PCGS, a MS 62 and this one a MS 63. Most of these coins do not have a date visible, this is one date with few known to exist and this the finest graded. A beautiful coin! -
