      Russ’s thread lamenting about not getting CAM designations led some posters to proffer theories that tie market price trends to trends in tighter or looser grading. One line of thinking is that as prices rise, grading tightens. The other theory is that the opposite is true and that as market price trend down grading…

      Fake. It looks like the mint mark is wrong too. It'd say false die counterfeit.

      The issue is very complicated. Not only do TPG grading standards rise and fall, but the market grading standards rise and fall. The two are not synonymous. Also, there are different standards for rare dates than common dates of the same type. THis makes no sense to me.

      I spent several hundred dollars on the air-tite albums, pages, boxes and cards. I would not recommend them. The albums falls apart and the capsules don't fit in the pages well and were always falling out. I was very disappointed.

      Play with the lights, I never diffuse the DMPL's. I think it loses sharpness and adds false frost.

      Sorry to hear of this, hope the dealer is doing ok. I would guess from earlier discussions this would fall under the category of a burglary vs a robbery as force was used.
