Re: 2007 Topps Series 2 Is Out

I just bought a hobby box of Series 2 and a complete set of Red-Backed Series 2 cards. (God bless sniping). After my Series 1 experience I'll wait a while before going after insert sets and wait for everyone else to blow a fortune putting them together. Then, when supply FAAAAAAAAAAAAAR exceeds demand I'll pick them up… -
Only 2 of 4 crossed but I'm excited
As I've posted recently, I've been fortunate with 3 different submission and can now report a fourth. Only 2 crossed but the 2 that didn't were shots in the dark. The discounted $10 fee for failures made those a cheap gamble. 1805 G$ 5 NGC-63 made it into PCGS MS-63 1856-S G$20 ANA 58/Pcgs 58 the 2 that didn't 1918/7-S SLQ… -

WTB: 90% Silver - Paying Spot +$2, or More For Large Quantities
All pre-1965 silver coins at spot + $2. If you have a bag ($1000 face) or more, I will pay spot plus $3/oz. Take the spot price of silver, add $2, then multiply by 715. Example: Spot at $23 + $2 = $25 X 715 = 17,875. Convert to 17.875 and multiply by how much face value you have in silver coin. Use +$3 if you have over… -
MadMarty Cook Island coin
Another "missing" coin that popped up when I found a box from years ago in my "spring cleaning". I knew Marty had sent me one and I didn't remember selling it, but I just didn't know where it was. Tonight, I found it. Anyone else still have one? I see 2 for sale on ebay (quite a price difference) and none in recent sales… -

Re: Is This a 1913/2 Caballito Overdate?

Hello fellow Caballito lovers. I don't view the message boards very often, but just discovered this thread. Its my opinion the variety posted by 7jaguars is closest to the D5. It has the lower left tick and a barely discernible curve at the top of the three. NGC should attribute it as its one of the four varieties they…
