Re: ....
<< <i> << <i> << <i>Who the heck are you talking about? If you mean the thread entitled "enhanced images" or something and the author used your images then enhanced them himself to make his point, I agree. But that's just one example. You are universally praised from what I can see. The images that get torn apart here are… -
Re: Ebay delists 9 of my auctions, over $10,000 worth of coins in the last day of the auctions
<< <i> << <i>Russ, Isn't this the message they send? >> That's the message sent to sellers. The message sent to buyers is different, and is used for multiple categories. Russ, NCNE >> Actually, Russ, I don't think that's true in all cases. I had a bunch of Stores listings yanked in mid-October for not having full slab… -
Re: What coins did you get for Christmas?
I would never have expected to answer this thread, as I never expected to receive any numismatic items as gifts, but sometimes surprises can come from the most unexpected of sources. I have maintained a corresponding relationship, particularly at Christmas time, with the widow of good friend and mentor Russ Logan,… -

I know the two owners of the MS-67's and they are not dealers. Is your info confirmed? Please PM me specifics, so I can update my records. I… -
Re: A doctor and, his cadavers..

I found this surfing on the web . copper coins. Silver on the other hand does dip very well. The higher % of silver, the better the results. Yours being 80% silver have probably 18% copper,so dipping them may get the copper to leach out so to speak and show up as surface toneing. Dipping clad(everyday coins) has disasterous… -
Re: Do you have a Cigar box to place your odds & ends
I used to use a cigar box to house all of my 'half-dime-related' items. However, after the tragic and untimely death of my good friend and mentor Russ Logan in 2002, his wife Brenda gave me a custom made, wooden, double row box with fitted cover, beautifully crafted with precision dovetail joinery, and finished with a hand… -
Another 1864 IHC Thread - minor clashing
After reading a few posts on 1864's lately, and remembering about the post Russ started last fall Russ's thread, I thought I would finally try shooting mine. It does not show anywhere near the clash details as any of the IHC's in that post, but it I still think it's cool. Question for you guys/gals before the pics, Is…
