He had a good career, tragically cut short, but he isn't deserving of the hall. That being said, his 1971 card is among my all time favorites. Sucks you couldn't get him to sign, sucks even worse he was so rude to you. It doesn't sound like it was an uncommon occurance, as you had multiple unpleasant run ins with him. -

Since sellers were not able to leave negative feedback for buyers, the whole feedback system is irrelevant. There are two sides to a transaction.
