SOLD: 1885 $1 MS64 PCGS

With nothing but bright green, blue, magenta, and orange covering the entire reverse of this coin, this toner is a sight to behold. The vivid velvety-smooth colors glisten atop lustrous surfaces on this 1885-P, which is a tougher date to find with such nice toning. Even if it were a common 81-S, very rarely do reverse… -

Re: 2004 1 oz Proof Platinum on Fire
kiyote I started buying from the US Mint with a 1/2 oz Proof in 1999. I wanted a 1 oz Coin but they were sold out. Starting in 2000 I got both the 1 oz and the 1/2 oz Coins. In 2002 I started getting the 4-coin set, along with a few extra 1/2 and 1 oz Coins. Sticker shock got the best of me in 2004 so I considered not… -
Re: Toughest 1956 Topps White Backs
After studying the pop report for '56 Topps, here's some interesting stuff I found: 1-100 gray backs are almost always a 1:3 ratio to white backs (there is one very interesting exception...keep reading) 101-180 white backs have a larger range of ratios, ranging from about 3% of gray to 12%+. Of course though, when it comes… -

Poppage! I was robbed. Line 1
To be honest, I'm not complaining except for Line 1 which I've been trying for 5 years for this whale (there's only 1 ten). There's no effy way. It's like the (2) 86 Topps Steve Young I sent and both got EOT, then resubbed with an ex board member to have one of the EOT get an 8 and the top right corner was flicked to show… -
Re: Weekend limerick contest - let’s party
1. There once was a man from Afghanistan. He collected wheat cents in a garbage can. As the copper price rose, he sold all of those to an undisclosed smelter in Maryland. 2. There once was a man from Iraq Who sent all his coins off to CAC But none of them beaned, With a gold or a green, So he sold them for silver to stack. -
My Quest to Cherrypick a Nice 1929-S DDO Dime

When I first started getting into Mercury dime varieties several years back, I made a short list of some of the better doubled dies for series (five or six of the minor ones) and set out to see if I could cherrypick them. One of the very first coins I picked was a 1929-S DDO that graded out at VF35. It was probably silly… -
WTT: my 2000 1/4 AGE with your 2010 1/4 Gold Tiger - FSH: 50 SILVER DIMES $85/shipped | on HOLD pend

I have the below pictured 1/4 oz American Gold Eagle dated 2000 that I would like to trade for one 2010 1/4 oz Australian Lunar Tiger. I think it's a fair trade but I am willing to pay for both shipping charges. I need a perfect coin, so please send me a picture, and also some references if I haven't dealt with you before.…
