1930-S BUFF 5 CENT 2 OR 2 1/2 FEATHERS
Last Saturday, I went to a dealer in Dallas that I had not been to for about 2 years. I was going to sell some of my duplicates. Now I remember why I have not been back. He under quoted me on all my coins. The ones that stuck out most were the 1917-d in Good, 1918-d in Good and a 1919-d in good. He offered me .35 each. He… -

The accepted 2F has virtually no trace of the feather. I'd say your coin is a 2 1/2 feather. -

All the 30-S's I've seen have some remnants of the third feather. But from your pics I'd call yours a 2 1/2 example. I posted my lowest grade example, about F12, below along with a PCGS 45 example which has obvious remnants. -

I am seeing too much of the 3rd feather to call it a "2 Feathers" variety. -

If Ron Pope chimes in, can I send you this coin to look at? If so, then send me your info via PM. It is only a VG example but this is a hard to find variety. It has about the same amount of th third feather as the 1917-d 2 feather IMHO. Thanks
