How to prevent spots on modern proof coins?
I went to a coin show today and was browsing through a selection of slabbed Franklin half dollar proofs in high grade. Many of the coins had milk spots despite being in PR65 through PR67 holders. In my opinion, a milk spot on a proof coin is ugly and should disqualify a coin for grade higher than PR63. I'm guessing these…
