Re: 1872 10 piece proof set (All coins now numeric graded slabs, grades on last page)

Well I got the coins, so lets talk. First I will tell you what I paid $5000 trade in low grade 90%, some pucks, some early gold and a few pieces of currency then $3000 cash and obviously my time and gas. The Dollar does has rub on the knee looks like cabinet friction but really not that bad full wire rim all around and… -

I just looked at my pictures again and boy they suck. I did not ask for true views, but maybe I'll have them imaged when I get them back. I can now see why you think the minor coins are not proof. All photos where taking in capital plastics holder under natural lighting no extra sources just the rays of the sun shining… -

This is one way that you REALLY learn and you are doing it. Price of admission can be painful, but overall, I'd say your education, as far as… -
Re: 1872 10 piece proof set (All coins now numeric graded slabs, grades on last page)
You know what, while I respect a few of the previous opinions that were given I am going out on a limb and say you should be happy. It is a lot of money but it looks like a original unprocessed set to my eyes and even if they grade all in the 63 range with no home runs you simply cant go out and buy an unprocessed set like… -

<< <i> << <i> << <i>I think one way or another you are going to learn a valuable lesson... >> I hope it's valuable, as opposed to expensive. >> Well I told what I gave in trade and cash in my post above, given the knowledge you have so far on these. How do you think I did? I've wrote up all the pcgs price guide info for… -
