On a serious note... the spots are not good. I empathize. Even Ron Guth one time put the feelers out that if anyone had a suggestion as to how they (milk spots) could/ should be addressed... to let PCGS know. It sure takes the collectibility out of the picture. -

Some never spot..... and others look like a baby barfed on them... I still maintain - and I have posted this in the past, several times, that if a forum member could subject the milk spotted surface to a SEM (scanning electron micrograph), we may be well on our way to solving this issue. I have a hard time grasping the fascination with collecting slabbed ase's, and people that fuss over 69's vs. 70's.... but I understand your pain at finding those milk spots. I got very pissed when a few of my cameo proof franklins spotted up after I stored them in the safety deposit box. Sometimes it's just difficult… -

She didn't say shat about how it turns gem ASE's into junk. Funny thing is it only happened to the 96 ASE's, in the NGC slabs.
