   How do you safely remove the haze that forms on modern commeratives, including milk spots?

   The best thing I've ever used to remove haze on proofs is cheap, lemon-scented household "sudsy" cleaning ammonia that you can get buy about anywhere. I usually dilute it 50:50 with distilled water, and rinse thoroughly with cold running water. Works great on silver and nickel, and removes minor/faint milk spots. I have…
