   TomB I appreciate your comments a lot. I am not familiar with US fakes. I would most likely recognize a Canada Fake from China or Lebanon. some years ago I had some personal experiences with them. Have you had or heard of 1899 quarter fakes? I do not think someone would "make" one only.

   It might just be your images, but the 1899 quarter appears counterfeit.
