Actually, the unc set has 2 coins. And most people don't really care about the silver. So it's really 1 vs 2, not 1 or 2 vs 9. The silver has intrinsic value, and that accounts for part of the price differential. And, 9 is not 8 times 1. But, no, the "value in this set" is really not "the 8 silver coins." Got 6 in hand couple hours ahead of Noon. So far 2 for 2 perfect sets. Gotta Run will do QC checks on rest later. All I have seen at the moment are Deep Cameo 70's. -

Put my big eye on 6 of these again and quality control is lacking. First glance 2 were bad, second glance 5 were lacking. 70's are going to be less than plentiful. And what's up with scruffy plastic cases. Suction cup marked perimeters like Philly, foggy spotted Cents, foggy fields on Saq $ too, etc... And there's no paid… -

There are 2 cents in the UNC set. And the proof Lincoln in this set is the same as the one in the base metal set. -

My 2 sets shipped before my BoM Mercury. At these prices, I'm contemplating stopping my sub for this, or reducing to just 1. I liked getting a silver example of new coins every year, but it may be time to "let it go". The quarter series no longer interest me going forward. Seems like a good stopping point. it's funny because i tend to do the same thing. I maxed out my subscriptions for everything this year and then slowly cut them back because i realize it's not something i can flip (nor do i ever flip anything). But this product started off great and then the mintage doubled and now i'm thinking of only keeping 2 or 3 sets.… -

Tangential to the silver proof -- the mint sets that are coming 6/30 went from 190K to 300K and they are available it seems in a large number still. I cut my silver proof and mint set orders both from 10 to 5, and my clad set sub to 2.
