   Hi, I have a few of these. Not sure if they have any value or what I am looking for. I've searched and searched but have no clue what these Type 1 and Type 2 photos are all about and if this is even a type of photo. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. Best, Alex

   a type 2 photo would be one that was developed more than two years after the picture was taken IMF

   Umm.... are we sure about that? I was under the impression that a Type 1 was taken from the original source and then a Type 2 would be taken from an image made from a Type 1 and so forth. Am I wrong? Arthur

   That stamping is one that was used from 1949-1957...It's obviously a "type" of photo...What is the subject matter? IMF
