The image of the 1902 shilling is unusual- The coin does not have what almost looks like an s behind and below the eye of Edward VII. It does look better in hand- My range was 64 shot 65. I think the highest grade I have obtained on an Edward VII shilling is 64, but then again, I have submitted very few- perhaps 4-5. Still… -

1889 Double Florin- Nice look but missed expectations- nice image 1838 Shilling is decent but just not an MS coin- nice image 1850 3 Pence- nice coin and missed expectations The 1902 Shilling is quite common- I thought this was better than most but missed a GEM grade . This was one of the gambles in the submission- Tell me… -
