Re: 2007-D Lincoln - Is this Registry fever or what?
BECOKA, Very interesting that you say that about the SAE's. When my daughter was born in 2005, I decided that I was going to collect one PCGS MS69 and one PCGS PR69DCAM SAE for each year (all are First Strike designation). So, to date, I have acquired both coins in 05', 06' 07' & soon-to-be 08'. Well, just last night I… -
Re: Spotty 2009 Lincoln MS68 graded coin, I don't get it.
This is a little disheartening. Going through about 10 dollars worth of P mint Formative Years from the bank I got rid of several pennies that had pristine surfaces.......but a TON of milk spots. Had I known that the grading services were going too ignore the spots I would have kept an additional 15-20 coins that may have… -
Re: Only 2 exist - 2006-W 20th Anniversary Silver Reverse Proof PR65 First Strike!!!! Any takers???

from the photos it appears there is a spot on the mirror detail and the frost, almost dead center on the obverse. if it was on the mirror detail, i woulda stabbed at it. i had a PR67 that i cracked and got the milk out of a crease on Liberty's dress. it's my display piece at home...in a capsule of course. here is what PCGS… -
Re: Vacuum sealing slabbed coins for longterm storage?
Its not just ngc. I’ve got anacs and pcgs slabs, new and old and if there’s toning or milk spots or shmutz it will remain or continue to tone, spot or whatever. My Morgan in an anacs slab ( not noticeable toning when purchased 30 years ago) turned in the slab)is actually getting a much better look as time goes by. So… -
Re: I think i'm done with the ATB pucks. (pics)
Has anyone ever done a controlled study with ASE's, or other US mint .999 silver, regarding the milk spot issue? It would be interesting to see someone break open a MB and acetone rinse half the coins, and leave the others as is, and then store them in different ways. Leave some from each group in tubes, put some in each… -
Re: The Kansas City Chiefs are setting themselves up for a major collapse this upcoming season.
I will never understand the organizations that just basically refuse to trade with in their division. I can kind of understand the Mahomes ones if they though that was the best offer but to let KC trade up over the Pats was just a crazy move. I think youre spot on they probably could have milked it more and ended up with a… -
in a pickle?

hello all! what if someone had a slabbed coin that developed carbon spots or milk spots etc. after a couple years months or whatever? does one have any recourse with the grading service or does the collector strike out? no pun intended.what would you do? has anyone ever had this happen? i'm talking about a coin that was… -

WTB 1994 Silver American Eagles PCGS MS69
I need a few Silver American Eagles PCGS in MS69 condition. They need to be in tip top condition. I want them to have no milk spots, or any spotting for that matter, haze, or toning, or any other problems with the coins. I'm looking to buy 2 - 5 (or any quantity for that matter) 1994 depending on the price so please PM me… -
Re: What lies beneath ??

Is it proof or uncirculated pack - can’t see date either which would help me a little bit. Does appear to have some cameo - (and maybe a milk spot or two as a bonus) Interestingly, I took a chance once at a pawn shop and bought a mess of old cellophane and inside was a uncirculated 63 Franklin that is flawless - NOT one…
