There may be alot of fraud on these items, but in Webkinz cards get real. What I think may have happened the seller ACCIDENTLY did not put the cards in the envelope and his daughter put them back in her room or whatever and now the seller cannot find them and is ASSUMING the buyer is a scammer. buyer has the option to temporarily change ship to address in ebay during checkout. To permanently change the shipping address of an ebay account a scammer has to access the ebay account, normally with a phishing email that gives them the password. Some scammers have been successful at changing another's ebay shipping… -

I've received emails to a yahoo account that matches my ebay account, though that is not the email address I used to register with ebay. My thoughts were that the scammer sends emails to ebay and paypal ID's with "@yahoo.com" added as an email extension, in order to add some semblence of an official ebay or paypal notice… -

eBay has gotten a lot better for buyers. It was pretty much like the wild west some years ago. But they have shifted towards an Amazon model. A761506, I hadn't thought of the scenario you propose. If true, it seems slimier than the other possibilities. Using a real, unaltered Mantle to trick someone into giving you a lot of money, then sending them a fake, seems a worse sin than simply using a fake card from the start like most scammers do. Smart move, I would never accept paypal for a high priced coin. All it takes is for a scammer to claim he received the package, but it wass the wrong coin and then he does a chargeback with paypal and paypal dips into your account or your bank account and kindly refunds the buyers money. Paypal is great for transactions…
