New (to me) PayPal Scam

I just logged into PayPal today for the first time in a while. Someone in Pakistan had requested $500 from me, which clearly was fraudulent. This by itself isn't a problem because I could just ignore it. But the person included a note which was designed to look like an official PayPal message, but after some thought, I… -
Re: 1909 s vdb - Is this coin for real?
Do people really bid on "original rolls" on eBay thinking they are going to get a full roll of BU 1909-S VDBs??? I would hope that the scammers presenting these 'rolls' know they are selling to the 'illuminati' that have nothing better to do that fork over money to scammers just for the entertainment value in their… -
Re: When would you issue a refund?
If this guy is supposedly a big dollar coin buyer, he wouldn't use "it's not shiny enough" as a reason for a return. That's something a 7 year old kid-or an ignorant scammer- would say. Red Flag. I'm in agreement with the idea of setting the funds aside in a separate account and just waiting this out; if he's legit he'll… -
Re: SOLD
ShadyDave Keep trying to stop people from buying from me because it is not working. No one care what you think and the people of this website is not going to turn down a good deal because some stranger is calling the seller a scammer without being able to name one person the seller has scammed. By the way, Etsy has a… -

Re: Anyone know anything about EBAY frauds involving 2nd chance offers? Edited: It is fraud, please be
This happened to me a couple months ago and it almost cost me $1,300. I had been communicating with the scammer via regular Email and then decided to send a message to the real seller via the Ebay "Ask Seller A Question" function. The real seller replied saying he didn't know what I was talking about and the coin was… -
Re: My thoughts on selling on eBay

What erks me is the ebay features that are set up to help protect ebayers but only seem to serve the scammers. 1. private listing 2. user id kept private 3. private feedback I watched a scammer who used these features selling .02 recipes, they would get a few dozen kind feedbacks then list a big ticket item for fraud. One… -
Re: Ebay user resealing packs
If an eBay seller of a resealed pack or box refuses to refund you your money, would eBay step in and refund your money? Another major problem with resealed packs and boxes is that the current seller may not be the one to have resealed them - he may have bought them a while back from the scammer that originally resealed the… -
Re: OUCH! Big doings over on Blowout. 23K scammalammadingdong
I'm guessing the total amount sent gift was Less that 3 or 4K. Most were sent goods. The scammer is using people to tell the others that he did not scam but he is not sending any packages out becasue of this and that and to file with Paypal. So for the people that paid for goods and did not receive anything they SHOULD get… -
Re: Replace "stamps" with "coins" and we already see a lot of this going on, on ebay
Back in 2003 I was taken by a Canadian coin scam artist. I wasn't the only one. While I ended up with a net loss of only $50 due to eBay's insurance, which paid the other $175, many others lost a lot more. A complaint was filed with the Canadian police. One of the other people taken by this scam artist tracked the scammer…
