Damn, this sucks. Though I never directly interacted with him, he was was a positive force on this forum. You just never know when someone's time comes, so the memories you collected are far more valuable than the coins you have in your collection. RIP. -

Good post, Robert. Collecting moderns is as legitimate as any area of collecting. But it's not a mature market so I think there's a big question about how it will hold up over time -- particularly, as you imply, the registry set-driven pop top coins where people pay hundreds for an MS-68 when an MS-65 might be five bucks.… -
