GRADES POPPED....and I'm NOT furious - Part 2
The last of my 80s/90s Special subs popped yesterday, a couple weeks ahead of schedule. 13-card sub this time. Mostly low pop Oddballs as usual. Again, no crazy random low grade 4s or 5s. (5) of the cards were hand cut from box bottoms/retail packaging and got (2) 8s and (3) 9s. I did get a couple 10s, both from the same… -
May 9, 2015: 2 Barber dimes, Silver Rosie, 13 Wheats, 2 IHCs, 1 V nickel

Got out today to a new spot. Figured it had been hit hard previously as it's a pretty obvious spot. Seems like someone was there before, as there were only a few obvious signals. But there was still quite a bit of stuff there. Just had to go slow and listen. For anyone familiar with a CTX, finally got to see a perfect… -
Re: CERT #1080014 Just Listed on eBay

My favorite is the 1953 SLU signed by mgr/HOFer Lou Boudreau - based on the specific lineup, I was able to pinpoint the game to Sep 2 at Detroit -… -
Re: How much Rim Ding/Damage is too much
Too much of anything is when it's the first thing you notice every time you get the coin out to look at it. '84-S is a better date but I wouldn't slab this date in grades below AU. 2027 Red Book gives a value of $345 in AU-50 with a huge jump to $10K in strictly uncirculated condition (MS-60). EF-40 is $155. Details grade… -

Love your Classic Head Liberty, AJ.....link is now broken. A JJS Gold Bean is most welcomed. OGIM.....nice coin......looks like a true F15. Broadstruck clever and funny as usual. RYK, love your 'low as can go' dirty gold.....glad you are still posting also. Great group of $2½ gold, Boosibri. Very nice '55 messydesk. And… -
