He is now on facebook running an "offical coin scammer blacklist group" as well as a few other sales (razz) groups. Recently he was selling fake shipwreck coins...he's still scamming, beware!! -

Chop marks are applied after the coin left the mint so it's technically post mintage damage. Also, it wouldn't be too difficult for a scammer to create a few punches and apply a few chop marks to a group of circulated coins. -

John, Coin World (and numismatics) is full of scammers. Before buying from a dealer, go to the search feature on this forum and type in their name. Odds are they've been discussed many times before. There's a wealth of information in the forum archives. -

Owee that big ugly thing really infringes on the governments design. Why don't they issue a cease and desist on the makers of those $20 silver rounds the scammers sell on eBay for $500 that look like Proof Morgan dollars? -

The one-man grading company SGS guy has got to be the king of Ebay coin scammers. He has 6 pages of auctions up right now. Some going for hundreds of dollars, some bin's for thousands. -

yeah, i noticed that same seller earlier in the week, he had a 72 Nolan Ryan PSA 9 o/c, and listed the regular PSA 9 NQ SMR price... basically a SCAMMER in my opinion -

I can't believe you've never opened any of them... really opening yourself up to scammers who will sell you a fake sealed box with a lead weight in it or a few rocks. Hope that wasn't the case here. -

I always show the number. The only time I hide them is for cards I scan for the registry. If I'm not selling a card, I don't want to give scammers the opportunity to steal the image to use in a fake auction. -

I dont find it ethical that they are selling the packaging for Donruss Classics. Kay-Bee is making it easy for scammers to easily insert resealed packs in there and pass it off as legit. Actually I just think the price is too high.
