Re: Found a "Ghost" Coin: 103 Mintage Gold. Is Israeli Numismatics the most undervalued play right now?
Very well daid @WCC and of course @Sapyx . As for its current or future value, if it is sold in Israel by an auction house, targetting the collectors of this particular series, it depends a lot on its official issue price by the Bank of Israel. Outside Israel, things are very different. With the huge rise of the price of… -
Newp. 1942 Type 2 Proof War Nickel

I like relatively inexpensive coins that give you a lot of bang for your buck. Historically and numismatcally (sp?). War Nickels fit the bill. Especially the unique 1942 Proof. The B-1 (formerly known as 25/2) is indeed much rarer than the B-2 or B-3 (which share an obverse). Since my book came out PCGS has changed how they list the 1825's in the price guide as well. Sorry! Re: Best looking 2 ever? What am I missing?

<< <i>I'll be damned if anyone can tell me what is going on with this as a 2. I see nothing under a loupe, so this will go back to PSA at some point... >> That is a brilliant 2. There's some disparity between the darkness of ink on the back between the top portion and the bottom. It's possible that PSA sees that as back…
