Re: Check out our site!
Russ is a great guy but I think he was a little harsh about the site. It loaded for me very quickly and I have dialup and I'm working on my worst computer right now. There weren't any cheap install popups and everything went very smoothly. I've had some experience and taken some courses in web design, and your layout and… -
Re: Scans of Cankeye's RAINBOW toned '58 Lincolns and '58 Washington.
Hello-- First, a big thank you to Russ for photographing the coins for me! He did a great job capturing the color on these coins, and that was a tough job, because the colors are intense. It was a pleasure to meet Russ in person. An added bonus was that Dan. C was in the shop while I was there and he also is a great guy.… -

Re: BEWARE of the Ebay seller

<< <i> << <i>Russ, you should rethink your position on this,... you've been lucky so far. >> Don, I only left feedback for you first because you're a liberal and I thought you might cry if I didn't. Russ, NCNE >> Russ, As I've stated, I would not expect feedback until the transaction was complete, i.e. I, the buyer, was… -
Re: aswimmer toned Morgans on eBay, Real or AT??

That's very cute, Russ. Now, show me where I "defended this fraud"?? By telling Rampage that he wasn't fitting in with the crowd by refusing to spew venom and name call, that certainly didn't qualify as "defended this fraud". C'mon, show me where I "defended this fraud". It would be you that is making false allegations and… -
Re: More post office problems...
<< <i><< They already do that. Funny thing, if I pay for $500 worth of insurance, but I can't prove the coin costs $500 they will refuse to pay! >> Just print out a copy of the eBay auction. My last claim was settled in three weeks, start to finish. Russ, NCNE >> Let's say, I have a nice (and very rare) gold plated weenie… -
Re: Well, Ursabear, you little sniper you!

We Bears do have our ways... (Thanks for the support, Bear!) Russ and Don - I take your comments as very high compliments - coming from great snipers like you two. I'm not great at sniping, but I *really* wanted a '99 silver at a price with which I could live. Of course, when we're all sniping it at the same time, it's… -
Re: PCGS submission question
NEVER use vinyl flips for proof coins. They are very prone to causing haze on the coins. Use only mylar, preferably ET Kointainer Saflips. And, as nwcs noted, they should be 2.5 x 2.5. Russ, oh Russ, OH RUSS. If only I had read your post, or one like it, a year ago, I wouldn't have ruined a nice mid 50's Frankie Proof by… -
Can you identifty a sellers images...
without seeing their ID? I've been thinking about posting this, and then Russ said the following today: "Some eBay sellers are very consistent in their image presentation. mnmcoin is one, jwcameo is another. Since both list coins I'm generally looking for, it's pretty easy to recognize one of their images when some toad… -
Latest pics from mark goodman

Bought this coin from mark feld, as stated in the other thread. It is an AU53/CAC NGC $2.50 1834 quarter eagle. It has some semi PL surfaces which is hard to see in the photo. Russ, a great member here as we all know, took some pictures of it for mark feld. Good pictures too.. I then bought it from mark feld. I wanted to…
