Barry Bonds 1987 Donruss Opening Day Error (edit - Grade In!)
I just bought a collection. In it was a 1987 Donruss Opening Day Barry Bonds Error w/ Johnny Ray on the front. Since I have no use for it, I need some help. What would y'all do? Sell now raw? Send to PSA for the $13 special hoping for a 9, then sell? Send to PSA and try to time it for #715? Sell raw and wait for #715? I… -
Re: What's the most expensive coin you've ever purchased........RAW?
All the coins I've ever purchased are raw. I (over)paid $37.50 for an AU 1863 IHC way back when I was 13. That was a lot of money then. I also paid close to that same amount at the time for a 1860-O $1 in (at best) AG for the type set. I guess that makes me the lowest-budget collector in this thread so far. -
My first submission since 2020 - very happy with the turnaround time and the results!
My 26 card Value Bulk order (1980-Present, $18.99/card, 45 business days) arrived at PSA on March 18th and was logged into their system eight days later on March 26th. I submitted 23 baseball certified autos (2004-2023) and three baseball RC's (2001-2008). Grading just the cards, not the autographs. All were purchased raw… -

Goldberg Auction has an ACG coin listed!!
1830, O-122, R-1. ACG graded MS-64. A very appealing coin that boasts medium gray toning and bright peripheral gold on both sides. Faint marks on the face, and well struck. Lot 532 5 SEGS 13 ICG Overall, I feel their last auction was far superior. This one is almost not worth the gas and time to lot view. Edited to add: I… -

Re: My view of the FY DDO's
<< <i>Having opened but a single roll and finding 13 specimens, along with the number of coins that just forum members have found, I seriously doubt that many people would even recoup their grading fees to have these graded for resale. EOM >> You're right, folks may have to sell them raw......like the recent listing on…
