Oh yes, I texted the real person right away (although super late in his time zone) and got a reply at 4am saying it was not him. I also challenged the email scammer right away who claimed no access to a phone at the time and “not hacked” 🤣 -

I just got the same email for a coin that I was looking for on the BST. Obvious scammer. I'm sure he's been reported to the forum moderators here but I'm not sure why they tolerate an obvious scammer here. -

Good luck on your sale, I suggest that you include a proof of ownership photo. There have been a few scammers here recently and it would be very easy to post a screenshot of the TV as you have done. I agree, in almost all of these small time scammer cases the judgement is worthless or close to worthless. I'm sure there are exceptions I just don't remember seeing any. -

I am glad eBay is trying to take steps to rid itself of scammers, spammers, and such. That said, when is eBay going to straighten out this photo mess? I'm afraid it is only going to get worse.
