Re: KEARA99....Watch out for this Ebay bid retractor.
He stiffed me for $80+ dollars on an ANACS certified 2c piece. He wouldn't answer my e-mails and was a total "brown eye" as he puts it in his response to one negative. I'd never recommend him or deal with him again! . michaeldixon (1261) 2 MONTHS. NO COIN (LOST IN MAIL) & NO REFUND. SEVERAL E-MAILS=BAD BUSINESS.… -
Re: Is this Ebayer on a Crusade?
I've pretty much given up on Ebay for selling. I only buy low dollar items there now. But in my prime I was selling new tools for a business pulling commission off of each sell. I'd pay $1-$2 a box, $16 for a bag of peanuts, and charge a flat rate of $15 insured Fedex Ground within the continental U.S. I'd get harrassed… -
Re: Aaron Hernandez had severe CTE. NFL & Pat's being sued
Anyone that ever denied the danger inherent in football is mistaken. Before though, it was just considered to be the joints, mostly in the legs. Of course pounding your head repeatedly causes significant damage which has been known by the game insiders for sometime and has in the last 5 or so years become public knowledge.… -
Re: Should In God We Trust be removed from currency?[poll]

Just take the phrase, "Life, Liberty and the pursuit of happiness" at face value. This would imply that each and every last one of us should be free to do as we please in the pursuit of happiness. If this were so then there would be no need for law or law enforcement Officers. Taken at face value I could theoretically live… -
Re: Looking for pricing help on an extremely rare / low pop classic silver commemorative : ) ....

<< <i>Was there any question I'd pass?! >> Pat, sure there was a question - I wasn't convinced you'd be willing to pay a five figure price for it. << <i>Was this coin purchased because of a want list that was on file or did you buy the coin with the intent of selling it quickly for a huge profit to a set registry number… -
Re: lll
Ok now, don't attack me... but this is why I find SCS to be superior to this, and other sites I belong to. #1) It is divided in catagories, making it easier to find or list exactly what you have to trade or sell #2) Although there are spammers, It is far less frequent at SCS than it is here. If I want to read a bunch of… -

Re: ANGS TPGS
There has to be more we can do to prevent people from being ripped off. I started a webpage on this, a blog, an ebay group and a TPGS forum to inform coin collectors. These type ebay auctions are bad for the hobby, and now is not the time for collectors to be losing out on their hard earned money. I got over 37,000 page… -
Re: Key word spamming
<< <i>Only in the title eh? So if you do a search using PCGS as a key word and a list of 50 coins comes up and only 3 of them are in PCGS slabs and you have to look through the other 47 because of the above are you still happy? You can put lines like this : <<Member ANA, NENA, CONECA, JRCS, SPMC, LTS, CWTS. Authorized… -
Re: When a Dealer asks "what do you need for that coin"

My opinion is that you must not know the market very well and you should probably learn a bit more before losing money on any coin transactions. Probably so. I have been peeling off coins that do not fit my core collecting interest that I have picked up along the way. For these coins, I really have no idea what the…
