Coin World is interested in knowing about problems with their advertisers. I had a problem with Teletrade several years ago and Coin World put the heat on them for me. CW doesn't want a reputation as a rag for scammers & ripoffs to sell from. -

I find it a little amusing when people ask someone more knowledgeable for their opinion, be it BBCE or PSA or whoever, and then get all bent out of shape when they are not happy with the results. Everyone should be aware that there are scammers out there and some are very good at what they do. -

From ebay me page with photo of person in wheelchair: Most likely the seller is not 81, disabled, or a veteran, or bought from a second veteran's "estate" to benefit a widow, just another would-be scammer. It's a place on the internet where money can be collected, after all. -

I guess my question was is this a completely faked Milton board set? Or is this an original sealed milton boxed set? And if not why not? Im just being cautious as it would be a scary thought if scammers started faking items like this. Or am I just being paranoid? -

was this the guy trying to arrange a group buy? are we sure he's not innocent in this? i personally was never convinced that he was a scammer although the auction did look a little fishy. i almost feel sorry for the poor guy.... anyone else wanna jump in here? -

I'd suppose R. Robert Campbell (All About Coins) in SLC actually does know the truth--but good luck asking since it's rumered he was seriously threatened by some coin AT-scammers when he was ANA President, giving his talk on AT coins.
