If those that received the coins spent them at only face value, ie.. used a double eagle to buy a few cheeseburgers, then they would be innocent. If, however, they used the double eagle and sold it for $1000, they are obviously evading taxes. I think we all know the intent here. They should ask the defendents if they used… -

A 1928 - P Peace Dollar just came in the mail today!
Sometimes scans do the job and sometimes they don`t. This doesn`t as it doesn`t show that this was more then well struck. It was a slammer. The outline of the face is like a cliff.
