German Empire proof 1/2 and 1 mark mintages
Does anyone have suggestions on where I can find reliable mintage figures for German half and one mark proof coins? Krause doesn't list them and I haven't had any luck on the Web finding them. Any leads would be appreciated! Thanks. -

Assigning a value to a 1 of 1 autograph card(Pack pulled)
What criteria would you suggest in establishing a value for one. This would not only be for mailing insurance value to/from a grader, but to also fall within the grading companys offer when it says "grading special",only values up to a certain amount, like not to excede $200.00 maximum value. The first coin in this post is actually a 1/0 “base” 1857. Check the PCGS pop breakdown. There’s another 1/0 that’s the S-1 variety & it’s also a 1/0 in it’s category. Both are 66+ but placed together under the 1857 total. Hope this clears up the unintended controversy. -

Looks like the FS-803 And is this worth crossing over and getting attribution on it. It is now a ngc ms64. Sorry for the images could be better but they show what I am seeing. -

Thanks for the kind words Barberian. I still check in here 1-2X per year, though usually only on the Precious Metal's Forum, sometimes supplying charts where I think they might help. About 3 dozen posts over there in 2026. CoVid did a number on the coin market as well as the overall enthusiasm that has never really come… -
