The last market report I read about a red hot copper sale was that anything anyone bought turned to gold and that buyers who missed out were scampering around like scared little children trying to find large cents to buy...even the leftovers and nearly any price. So I guess the good pedigree does make a difference.… -

simplycoins is selling the very same large cent. I'm sure the rest of these auctions stink also. scamer someone must have hijacked this guys account. coins are being listed as I type. 1885-cc $ BIN under $100. Get in on the deals if you dare. -

How many times have we seen "from an estate" on eBay? It's a standard line from many people who turn out to be scamers. If you buy their stuff you will end up "buried" like the person who had the estate, if there was such a person. -

In both instances, multiple pictures are provided, which is usually a sign of a legitimate auction. It is easy for a scamer to save a single pic from another auction and use it in their own, but most would be too dumb or too lazy to use more than one pic. -

Actually, we already have one, the 1 OZ Silver Eagle. The coin is legally monetized at a value of One Dollar. We of course also have a $5, $10, $25, $50 and $100 coin in Gold and/or Platinum. PSA lists the 12 card Leaf promo set at 1990. And Clemens was not one of the promos. The SCD catalog only lists the 1989 Leaf Blue Chip cards as the only Leaf cards produced in 1989. They are a Leaf version of the 1989 Donruss Grand Slammers set. No Clemens here either, as they were all hitters. Someone just made an error…
