Re: When did you realize that it wasn't YOUR Baseball team?
That story makes me wonder . . . Doesn't it seem like the things we really have to work at are the things we end up cherishing the most? These days it is so easy to follow a team that I think a lot of us take our sports for granted. I live 3,000 miles away from where the Red Sox play and yet through the miracle of cable TV… -
Re: Not to beat a dead horse, but is Baltimore really an incredibly dangerous city?
There is a world of difference between Penn Station and the Convention Center area. The Convention Center and Inner Harbor are by a long shot the safest part of Baltimore. Re: new 1913 type one 3 & 1/2 legged buffalo nickel
Tom just brought this coin over here to my house an hour or so ago (we live just a couple of miles apart) whereupon I had a good close look at it. My impression is that is is, indeed, an unusual coin and part of that lower right front leg is unquestionably missing. The coin is also massively clashed. But I'm not so sure it… -
Re: Strongsville, Ohio Sportscard Show March 28-30, 2014
I went last year and plan to go again for at least one day this year....I live nearby, less than ten miles away so it's an easy decision....There is also a large mall almost right next door so you can also go there. Lots of places to eat nearby as well. ...most of the old time cleveland area dealers set up and there… -

<< <i> << <i>haha you pay a guy 13 million dollars to bat .285, hit 24 HRs and drive in 80 RBI? GREAT INVESTMENT DIPCHITS! Another Ticket and A Story

We made the 250 mile drive to Atlanta to start my vacation on July 4, 1985. The Braves were starting a 4 game series with the much hated Mets. We had tickets for the 5th, 6th, and 7th but not for the 4th. When we arrived we decided to try and get tickets from a scalper as the game was sold out. Got $5 upper deck, center…
