Re: what % of ngc graded coins within an ngc registry set is required..
<< <i>Nice pictures and descriptions count for a lot and the set must be complete by mid December >> The only award that I'm aware of that gives credit to pictures and descriptions in the "best presented" award. I won that one last year for my early half dime set. Otherwise, the only thing that counts is the total number… -
Re: Igor Larionov.....a HOF, why?
<< <i>Did you ever see actually see Larionov play? Igor was an unbelievable playmaker and passer and one of the smartest hockey players ever to lace 'em up. The KLM line was nearly unstoppable because of the way they could move the puck. Larionov was a deadly passer, Markarov one of the most amazing puck handlers ever, and… -

Heh. I collected cards, of course. But, 10 year old me WANTED to be a player. I'd had great summer of Little League the year I turned 10. League MVP for a team that sucked. And another good season after that. Then, it all stopped. I never got to play ball at school. So, 10 year old me would ask now: Why aren't you on a… -
Re: ARGGHH! I received my first neg in 10 years on Ebay.
Actually upon first reading, the guy thinks a refund is not a reality. He just stated that he had to pay $14 in shipping costs for the return concerning a $17 item in an another incident. He likely believes that after he is done paying for shipping, there is nothing left of the refund, so he saw the only recourse he had… -
Re: I am talking ripping here..............
There is a bit of a double standard. If someone comes here and says they bought a raw GEM 1916 Buffalo for $400 and it just came back from PCGS as a Proof 67!! They would probably get a "You Suck". On the other hand, simply stating that you are out looking to get "A Rip" when buying coins will also get a, you suck. The… -
